Methodology

The sessions are based on experiential learning principles and the consensus-seeking model based on constructivist pedagogy. Participatory processes like small group work, role-plays, casework, simulations etc are used to facilitate lateral learning and provide hands-on experience. The participative processes of these trainings aim at empowering the teachers for ongoing improvement of practice. The whole programme builds in the component of intensive engagement of the teachers with state–of–the–art content and team functioning.

Support is also provided through additional readings, films, journal articles, newsletters and qualitative feedback.

Materials

Handouts and other learning materials for use in the workshops are provided. Reading and reference lists as well as websites are also provided. Additional materials can be procured on payment.

Faculty

Multi-disciplinary faculty consisting of professionals from Education, Research, Management and Information Technology add value to the course. The team specializes in the niche area of management and professional development in the education sector. Experts from relevant fields are also invited to provide valuable inputs and provide perspectives.

Post-Training Support

Additionally, on-site support can be provided to teachers to consolidate their learnings and collaborative behavior, towards building an engaged learning community of teachers who focus on continuously improving their practice.
